We collect the photos you upload, job metadata (document type, timestamp), and payment information processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your uploaded photos solely to perform compliance checks and generate output files. We use job metadata to track processing status and improve our service. Payment information is handled by our payment processor and is not stored on our servers.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your photos are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) and are only accessible via secure, time-limited URLs. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only.
4. Data Retention
We retain your original and processed photos for 30 days after payment to allow re-downloads and provide support. After 30 days, all photos are automatically deleted. Job metadata (without photos) is retained for up to 1 year for quality monitoring and analytics.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to process payments (Paddle), host infrastructure (Railway, Vercel), and store files (Cloudflare R2). These providers have their own privacy policies and security measures. We do not share your photos with third parties except as necessary to provide the service.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@visaphotocheck.com with your job ID. We will delete all associated photos and data within 7 business days. If you are an EU resident, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, and port your data.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal cookies and local storage to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics to analyze traffic, which uses cookies only if you explicitly consent. We also use Vercel Analytics for cookie-less, anonymized traffic measurement. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the banner or your browser settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or via email if we have your contact information.
