Mexico's foreign ministry (SRE) asks for a passport-size colour photo with a visa application and gives a size range. It is smaller than the photo most countries use.
- Size: At least 26mm wide by 32mm high and at most 31mm wide by 39mm high. We make it 31mm by 39mm.
- Background: White.
- Face visible, facing forward.
- No glasses.
- Colour photo, passport style.
- Head: We keep it at 50–70% of the photo height. The ministry does not publish a head size.
