Singapore's Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) requires strict biometric photo standards for passport and Permanent Residence (PR) applications.
- Size: 35mm x 45mm (physical print size).
- Digital: 400x514 pixels at 287 DPI (ICA standard output).
- Head Coverage: 64-76% of photo height.
- Background: Plain white.
- Finish: Matte or semi-matte preferred for physical photos.
- Brightness: Strict control - facial features must be distinct.
Why We Do Not Make This Photo
ICA says your photograph must not be altered or enhanced in any way, including by using photo editing software. Replacing the background is how an online photo maker works, so we do not offer one for Singapore passports. ICA also lists what a good photo needs:
- High resolution with sharp focus.
