Uzbekistan's e-visa portal (e-visa.uz) accepts applications from over 90 countries. The photo must be a recent biometric JPEG uploaded during the online form.
- Size: 35×45mm (413×531px at 300 DPI).
- Background: plain white or very light background.
- Head height: 60–80% of the total image height.
- Expression: neutral, mouth closed, eyes open and looking at the camera.
- No glasses, no tinted lenses, no headwear.
- File format: JPEG, under 240 KB.
Why Uzbekistan eVisa Photos Fail
The e-visa.uz portal uses automated biometric validation. Photos are rejected if the background is not plain white, the face is partially obscured, or the head ratio is outside the accepted range.
- Background is off-white, grey, or has a visible shadow.
- Head too small in frame — it must fill at least 60% of the image height.
- Photo taken from a screen, forwarded via WhatsApp, or heavily compressed.
- Sunglasses, fashionable tinted lenses, or hats worn in the photo.
